We’ve all been there. The dreaded zoom call that ends with the realization that the entire thing could have been an email.
As marketers, we’re always trying to be more efficient. And more creative.
At Flashtalking, we don’t think you should have to choose. And that’s what our commercial is all about.
To get the word out about how Flashtalking helps you make ads people want to see we’re running our first-ever Super Bowl ad in Fort Wayne.
Why did we pick that market? Well, for starters, there are some great clients in Auto, FinServ, and other industries. So, it’s part of our ABM (account-based marketing) strategy.
Secondly, we were able to get a great deal on a local spot and avoid shelling out the $7 million for 30 seconds of national airtime. Big thanks to our MBuy team who facilitated the buy with the WANE 15 CBS affiliate through Mediaocean’s ad infrastructure.
Combining the low cost of local media with the in-house production of a glorified Zoom video recording (shout out to our motion design art director, Jon Wood) and actual Mediaocean employees starring as themselves, we can check the boxes on efficiency and creativity – and gosh darn it, a lot of fun along the way!
Speaking of fun, the day after the big game we’ll be posting a longer version of the ad with special features, behind-the-scenes action, and classic bloopers. So, stay tuned for that! (Update: Watch video here.)
